This is a video that I did for a social issue project in my motion graphics class in the Penn State graphic design program. It deals with the ever prevalent surveillance that has become apart of our culture. It was a group project, and the concept and footage is all original.
Identity Theft
Done with a partner, this assignment for a graphic design class asked us only to employ the use of a split screen. We used a linear story that when cut in half, reversed and opposed, mimic each other. The video tells the story of a girl who leaves her apartment for a walk, and ends up on a park bench. While she is distracted on the phone, another girl steals her keys & identity, and then goes back to her apartment to steal more. Watch it over and over, to unravel the story.
